Headlines Jan. 14-21, 2007
PR Dept. is preparing for holding VinaPhone year-end closing ceremony according to contract signed with VinaPhone. VinaPhone is the state-of-the-art GSM technology network and 100% invested by Vietnam Posts & Telecommunications Corporation (VNPT), has covered 64/64 provinces and cities in Vietnam. Under the plan, this ceremony will be held in Sheraton Hotel in January 30. Next, PR will make a plan for VNPT closing ceremony 2006 and this contract will be officially signed this month as expected.

Adcom EC Dept. has finish to assess awareness of citizen’s sanitation behavior in Lim town, Bac Ninh Province mission last week. HCMC Urban Upgrading is in its final stage, Adcom is preparing a guide- handbook and final report submitted to PMU. Adcom also agreed with Hai Phong Training PMU about teaching two classes of the first period- Hai Phong Urban Upgrading Project, will be held by Adcom in January 25.

Headlines Jan. 7-14, 2007
A training scheme entitled ISO for Adcom has been organised in Jan. 10 and was well attended by Adcom staffs. The training displays that ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is the world's largest developer of standards. They are useful to industrial and business organizations of all types, to trade officials, to suppliers and customers of products and services in both public and private sectors. And ISO certificates vital to enterprises. Now, Adcom are in the process of applying for these designation. The training is organised for Adcom that will apply quality management systems according to ISO standards and other international standards.

PR Dept. has signed a contract with Bim Son Cement Joint Stock Company as a film producer for a short-length documentary entitled ‘Bim Son - Innovation and integration’ will be presented on Technology and Life programme, VTV1.

Headlines Jan. 2-7, 2007
Adcom PR has signed a contract to make an advertising film for FAW truck, will be presented on VTV, also to videotape will be broadcasted on the Voice of Vietnam. Under the plan, this work will be completed within 15 days from date of signature.

Last weekend, to year-end summation ceremony, all members of Adcom have taken part in two day trip to be held in Van Long, Ninh Binh Province. Van Long is the most flooded nature preserve in the Northern Delta and a magnificent eco-tourist site in Ninh Binh. Covering an area of 2,600 ha, Van Long is called Ha Long Bay without the water because it has many places of interest. Sitting on fishing boats, you will feel an ideally fresh air. It is possible to say that Van Long was granted by the nature beautiful scenery with a deverse flora and fauna system. Adcom closing ceremony has taken place at 9pm Saturday, begin with giving an award for excellent team and person, continued to letter and arts show, with many special item on the programme to be played by Adcom members. This show brought about full of laughter and enjoyable for all.

Popular Christmas themes include the promotion of goodwill, giving, compassion, and quality family time.

Last weekend, Adcom members have taken part in a cold- lunch buffet to be held to season’s greetings and happy holiday. On Christmas day and new year coming up, Adcom also would send cards to the partners and clients with our best wishes, good will and long lasting relationship for all. Headlines Dec. 10-17
Adcom Furniture Dept. has completed to furnishing for Longtech Precition Project in Bac Ninh. Also, Thai Binh Steel Company Project is in its finished stages, ended in Dec. 23 as expected. Besides it is under equitisation progress, which is schedule to take place within 6 months of the beginning next year. Adcom has also fulfiled procedure for 5,000 square meters leasing land of the Phung Industrial Zone, Ha Tay Province, to deploy construction of wood working factory in future.

Under the equitisation of Conlsutant for Civil engineering Dept. plan, the official foundation shareholders’ meeting was taken place in Adcom last Saturday. In the meeting, everyone has discussed what business management to take, consists of planning, operation, funtional organizing, marketing, finance and human resource to enable the strategic plan to be put into action successfully.

Headlines Dec.03-10
Adcom and H.U.D sign a contract to carry out testing pile for Linh Dam North New Urban Area, Hoang Mai Dist. , Hanoi. Under the contract, Adcom will implement static loading test, SONIC and PIT. Testing piles is proposed to be started Dec. 18, and for production piles the field test would be conducted in February next year. Last Tuesday, the strategic shareholders have officially register for attandance in Adcom Joint Stock Company for Civil Engineering Conlsutant. And board of equitisation now prepare in accordance with requirements of paper works for submission, to come to opening ceremony in Jan. 1st 2007.

Adcom has finished survey of training demand to report to Hai Phong Communications training PMU. At the same time, Lim pilot water supply project is in preparation for proposal of IEC campaign. Adcom will also conduct to evaluate the effect of training program to be of HCMC Urban Upgrading, started in Dec. 15th, 2006.

Headlines Nov. 26 to Dec. 3
Subsequent to contract completed for pile testing for Viet Hung New Urban Area, Long Bien District, Hanoi, Adcom Civil Engineering Consultant Dept. has recently signed to implement static loading test for 4 buildings add-on, and finished in the end of this month as schedule. Last Saturday, the second strategic shareholders’ meeting was held in Adcom as this dept’s equitisation. The meeting was well attended and everyone has deliberated what action to take, also further content following equitisation process. According to the plan, Tuesday 5 Dec., the strategic shareholders will officially register for attandance in Adcom Joint Stock Company for Civil Engineering Consultant.

Despite the new foundation of Adcom PR, this dept. has bright prospect for development. Besides to convey about Adcom’s product and services to customers to support sales afforts, establishing and burnishing the Adcom trademark for a strong, ongoing market, etc, PR Dept. also promote and implement projects involved public relation. Last week, PR Dept. has signed a contract as a film producer for a short-length documentary will be presented on VTV2, Scientific and educational Channel - Vietnam Television.

Headlines Nov. 19 to 26
Adcom Civil Engineering Consultant Dept. has finished to test pile for the National Broadcast Centre project in 58 Quan Su Street, Hanoi. Now, Adcom has also promising prospect to take part in forthcoming project. Under the equitisation plan for this dept., the first strategic shareholders’ meeting has been taken place in November 22, have approved its equitisation plan’s specific content. Adcom is waiting officially attandance from shareholders.

HCMC Urban Upgrading is in its finished stages, and Adcom has prepared a final report to submit PMU. At the same time, Bac Ninh Communications project has started. Following, Adcom will have a work relationship mission in Bac Ninh to prepare the proposal of IEC campaign, and finish report after 2 weeks. Adcom also makes a plan to send an article to newspaper for publication, and film script submited to Hai Phong Communications PMU.

News weekly Nov. 12 -19
Last week, Lim pilot water supply PMU and Adcom officially signed a contract under communications for sanitation and change of sanitation behavior in Lim town, Bac Ninh Province. As expected, this project will be started in 21st Nov. and lasted 12 months. Now, Adcom also implements others for training and communications in Hai Phong, Urban Upgrading in Ho Chi Minh City, and proposal submission for potential projects in future.

Adcom was invited to take part in bidding for Nam Dinh Rural water supply and Sanitation project. The application for this project will be available in nine communes to be of My Loc and Nam Truc district. Adcom actively participate in bidding, and now prepair in accordance with requirements of the bidding documents. Under the tender plan, closing and opening of bids will be taken place in 15 Dec., 2006.

Congratulations on Vietnam’s WTO entry
Vietnam was officially admitted to the World Trade Organisation during a special meeting of the WTO General Council on November 7 in Geneva. It is an event of great significance, marking an important step for Vietnam’s participation in the global trading system on an equal footing with all other WTO members. After joining the WTO, Vietnam will become one of the most vibrant markets in the world. WTO membership will help Vietnam to attract more foreign investor who are familiar with the WTO’s practice. They will introduce new technologies and better business practices, increasing production in Vietnam, developing local markets and generating more jobs. Vietnam’s entry in to the WTO is good news for all Vietnamese enterprises. Naturally, Adcom has bright prospect to cooporation with potential partners in the future.

Last week, Korean partner has visited Adcom, and invited Adcom to cooperate in the field such as interior, construction of house, LED outdoor advertisements and hair & beauty shop franchise, and expected that have further cooperation with Adcom. Also, a French and Norway consultant company has just offered cooperation with Adcom in Red River Delta Water Supply and Sanitation Project in Vietnam. Adcom indeed look forward to good corporations for mutually successful business for long lasting relationship.

Adcom has won a contract to test pile for the National Broadcast Centre - Radio the Voice of Vietnam project in 58 Quan Su Street, Hanoi. Under the VND600 million contract, Adcom will implement static loading test, PIT, core drilling and SPT. This contract will be carry out from date of signature.

Along with furnishing office & superior furniture under Thai Binh Steel Company (TBC) project, Adcom has been approved to implement the additional annex of signing contract with TBC for VIP office furniture. At the same time, Furniture Dept. is under equitisation process, which is schedule to take place in the end of this year. The construction of factory will be deployed within 6 months, and the opening ceremony for Adcom Furniture Joint Stock Company will be held in June 2007 as expected.

Top news weekly 22nd – 29th October
Adcom has recently signed a contract to implement the trial pile testing and soil investigation for the project of Dutch Lady New Factory. The US$20 million factory would be built early next year on 58,000 square meters of the West-South Industrial Zone located in Ha Nam's Phu Ly District. Dutch Lady is one of the leading manufacturers and distributors of food and beverages in the world, very successful in Vietnam with its famous brands such as: Dutch Lady, Yomost, Ovaltine, Friso…Under the plan, this contract will be carried out from date of signature and end after 15 days.

In the end of last week, the experts’ study tour to be held by Adcom in Hai Phong, Nam Dinh and Can Tho has completely finished. After that it would be the closing seminar taken place in HCMC, and ended in 2nd November. Besides, Adcom concurrently implements other projects for training and communications in Hai Phong and Bac Ninh.

At present, both Adcom Furniture and Adcom Consultancy Dept. inch closer equitisation. Last Saturday, Adcom board of managers and equitisation committee have approved schedule for these. Following, it will offer share sales to investors in 3rd and 7th November in turn Adcom Consultancy and Adcom Furniture. At the same time, the foundation of shareholders’ meeting to be held at the end of November, 2006.
Top news weekly 15th – 22nd October
Last week, Adcom has signed a contract with an Hong Ha Investment & Construction Joint Stocks Company for the PDA testing pile for Liquefied Petroleum Gas Dock warehouse in Nhon Trach, Dong Nai Province. This project will be carried out by Adcom South Representative Office this month.

After considering the scheme of furnishing submitted by Furniture Dep. , in October 18th, Thai Binh Laminated Steel Company (TBS) and Adcom officially signed a contract for furnishing office & superior furniture. As expected, this work will be completed in the end of next month.

Concurrently, along with equitisation of Furniture Dep. process, Consulting construction Dep. has submitted its detailed equitisation plan to the Adcom board of managers and equitisation committee. Following, the first, Adcom will have its assets valued, select strategic shareholders, define the stake proportions to be sold, and the solution for the labour matter will be decided afterwards, which is schedule to take place in the first quarter of 2007.
News Weekly 8th – 15th Octorber, 2006
Environment & Developing Community Dep. has finished training course, an article to be of HCMC consultant training community project. In the end of this week, experts will participate in study tour to be held by Adcom in Hai Phong, Nam Dinh and Can Tho and ended in October 28th as expected.
Besides, Adcom inches closer equitisation of Furniture Dep. and is awaiting official attendence and approval from the future shareholders and Adcom’s member. This equitisation will process quickly, and the next step will be to list on the stocks market. Under the plan, Adcom’s staff will be preference right to buy shares. Adcom expects that the first shareholders’ meeting to be held at the end of November, 2006.
Grass, grass slopes of picnic
Last weekend, to do in honour of Vietnam Woman Day 20/10, all members of Adcom have taken part in an one day picnic to be held in Grass-ski Entertainment, far away from Hanoi about 30 kilometres in Luong Son Dis. , Hoa Binh Province, with green and lush slopes grass spreading. As getting the hang of skiing on grass, we have a sentation of taking up skiing on snow. Very interesting. Beside grass skiing , we get swimming, sauna, karaoke and billiard or chatting outside. All of us, first and foremost sisters, feel fully enjoyable, relaxed and close to each other. A picnic has left deep impression on Adcom’s members.

Please pay attention to our good news. Last week, Haiphong Urban Ugrading PMU & Adcom mutually agreed to sign the consulting contract about training community in Haiphong. This project will be carried out from date of signature and ended after 10 months. The same time, Thai Binh Laminating Steel Factory has eccepted scheme of work submited by Furniture Dept. .As expected, this contract will be officially signed this October. Good luck to all you.

Nowadays, a holistic approach is needed in social research so the field team has used a range of quantitative and qualitative methods in a number of social projects given. Many social specific sequence of open-ended investigation tools including focus group discussions, observation, in-depth interview and key interviews drawn from the repertoires of MPA (Methodology for Participatory Assessments), RRA (Rapid Rural Appraisal), PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) and PHAST (Participatory Hygiene and Sanitation Transformation) methodologies have been applied in our participatory esearches.
